| The Path that took us to where we are today was perhaps typical of most business start-ups in China. An unrealistic business plan, an evaporation of cash followed by a mass bail-out by most of the partners. Does it sound familiar?. Sure we can laugh about it today, but in China, the most important quality that determines success is "flexibility". What do I mean? You need to roll with the punches and you cannot quit. Its too easy to give-up, too easy to walk away, because every day there are new and UN-expected problems. Success in China is all about finding solutions and thinking "outside the box". | |
| GUSTO Today is not the GUSTO that was 1st imagined back in 2005. Today a large part of our business is exquisite garnishes, edible flowers and micro greens. Today most of our growing operation is working with farmers in Shandong and Yunnan and following the guidelines of sustainable agriculture. It has been a long and hard road. But, we are proud of what we have created and even more satisfied with the trust that we have earned. Many of our products are grown using the international standards for "organic agriculture". | |
